Good morning friends! Hope you are all staying safe and healthy.

We wanted to update you first as you are the core of the event. We have made the decision to cancel the 2020 Metro Cruise events. This is primarily due to Covid-19 concerns and it’s impacts such as needed support we rely on to operate.

Please know that there were many groups involved in this decision - the Chamber, the Chamber Board, and the Metro Cruise committee. There was also recommendations and input from other affiliated organizations such as the city of Wyoming and Kentwood and it’s law enforcement, our mall sites, vendors, and others.

We welcome any questions you have. Please remember your event organizers love this event as much as you do. We enjoy planning year round, listening to you, and improving and building it every year. This was a painful decision for us but there’s so many factors that would make the event hard to run, not to mention risk the public health of our higher age demographic attendees.

A bright spot is that we have extra time to prepare for our 2021 event, which we are very excited for. Thanks for your support and we WILL see you next year.

We have decided to cancel our Dust Off event. This was scheduled for May 2nd at the Wyoming Moose Lodge #763. This was our annual kick off event we’ve done for the past 6 years.

The Metro Cruise Main Event, scheduled for August 21 and 22, is still planned as scheduled.

Hey friends! We wanted to give you an update and give you a chance to ask questions.

First, we hope you are staying safe. This new way of life where we have to distance ourselves is difficult, but needed at this time.

Ready for some good news?! Metro Cruise 2020 is a “go” at this point! With the event bring 5 months away yet, we fully expect the restrictions to ease up by then. With our Main Events sites being so large, we are certainly preparing and discussing what a “different” Metro Cruise might look like this year.

We’ll be in touch in the coming weeks and months as we have more updates.
